Results – A Minor Reason to Celebrate

This afternoon we consulted with Second Opinion, who shall henceforth be known as Primary Breast Surgeon, regarding the MRI yesterday (was that just yesterday!?)  The good news is that the tumor is NOT dramatically larger than shown on previous imaging.  Whew!  I was told that it may show considerably more cancer than other techniques (as was the case with my Sister In Law), but the difference was negligible.

Lumpectomy surgery is scheduled for next Friday, July 20th.

If you’re wanting something specific to hope or pray for, it’s clear margins on the material that will be excised.
